Recently we have witnessed many great example of mutual inspiration between authentic Hungarian folk music and jazz, and it is a particular source of pride that a number of Hungarian musicians feel equally at home in folk and jazz. Norbert Káel and the Jazzical Trio have formerly explored the borderland between jazz and classical music, and now further enrich their palette with a step taken towards folk music.

At the concert, Grammy Award and Kossuth Prize winning singer of world renown, Márta Sebestyén will reveal the splendour of some of the most beautiful folk songs, which will also shine in another dimension thanks to the exciting harmonies and reconsidered rhythms of Jazzical Trio’s interpretations.
