Rising from the ashes of the cultural apocalypse, a handful of lonely souls meet. Each is a different character, representing different values, traditions, lifestyles, and genres. They are symbols, the settlers of the future. However, their coexistence gives rise to tension and conflicts.

The joint dance concert of Fugato Orchestra, Hungary’s first symphonic hybrid chamber orchestra, and Duna Dance Workshop, which employs folk dance as a special technique in its choreographies, is based on the works of composer Balázs Alpár. The programme includes new compositions, as well as songs from the ensemble’s latest album, Hibrid Harmóniák, and earlier records.

The production relies on the interaction of the musicians and the dancers, with the orchestra itself becoming an integral part of the choreography. Thanks to the theatre and the dance, an original world arises on the stage, whose origins lie in the musical moods.
